Job summary

SavATree is seeking a Plant Health Care Specialist to monitor, diagnose, and treat tree and shrub health issues within a defined territory in New Jersey. A typical day includes inspecting plant material, identifying pests or diseases, applying treatments, and preparing diagnostic reports for clients.

You will work independently, travel by company vehicle, and contribute to conservation efforts while delivering outstanding customer service in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Independently manage field tasks and client interactions.
• Strong written, verbal, and listening communication for client education.
• Willingness to complete training and obtain licenses/certifications.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect plant material and identify pests, diseases, or concerns.
• Select and apply treatments to promote plant health.
• Prepare diagnostic reports and educate clients about landscapes.
• Operate spray and application equipment safely and effectively.
• Work independently to ensure high customer satisfaction.
