Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Pipe Yard Associate at its Waterworks location in Richmond, VA. The role involves working in a warehouse and outdoors in a pipe yard, with weather exposure and seasonal conditions.

The position runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with some overtime. Duties include forklift operation, pallet handling, inventory receiving and safety compliance in an outdoor setting.

Qualifications

• Background in warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory is preferred.
• Comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment.
• General computer skills for basic data entry.
• Forklift Operator experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate stand-up forklift and sit-down forklift to pull and prepare outbound orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and large piping.
• Work outdoors year-round in a pipeyard, in all weather conditions.
• Accurately receive, verify, stage and stock incoming material.
• Effectively receive and store inventory.
• Adhere to safety regulations and use PPE.
