Job summary

Stark County Park District, Ohio, is hiring a full-time Crew Worker for our Maintenance & Construction team to build and maintain parks and trails across an 8,000+ acre system. If you love outdoor work and serving the community, join Stark Parks!

This role involves operating a range of lawn and trail equipment, performing custodial tasks, and assisting with safety and maintenance across multiple park locations. Weekend hours may be required during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, not required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Relevant work experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform lawn maintenance using various lawn equipment and handle trash and snow removal as needed.
• Conduct trail maintenance with small or large equipment, materials spreading, and signage installations.
• Safely use hand tools and power tools and maintain clean work areas and park vehicles.
• Perform custodial duties such as event clean-up and restroom cleaning at Park sites.
• Interact professionally with park patrons and manage concerns appropriately.
• All other duties as assigned.
