566 DEPARTMENT OF TOURISM AND RECREATION is hiring for a Construction/Maintenance role at Ft Cobb State Park. The position involves care and maintenance of park property, from lawn care to building and fixture repairs.

The job requires at least 2 years in building trades, ability to work outdoors in varying weather, and a valid driver's license in some locations. Starting pay is $15.00/hour with potential raise to $15.45/hour after a one-year trial.

Formación

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have at least two (2) years’ experience in one or more building trade or an equivalent of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform tasks that involve regular bending, stooping, squatting, walking and lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions, including prolonged exposure to heat, humidity, sun, and wind.
• Some locations will require a valid Driver’s License.

Responsabilidades

• Installs, replaces, alters, maintains and repairs plumbing fixtures such as sinks, traps, faucets.
• Performs construction or renovation of buildings or additions; erects scaffolds, sheds, forms, frames, fences and other structures.
• Maintains and repairs lighting, generators, motors; oils and cleans motors; performs minor electrical repairs.
• Installs and maintains locks; changes tumblers and keys; uses tools to change combinations.
• Constructs and repairs concrete foundations; builds walls, walks, fireplaces and similar projects.
• Operates and repairs equipment used in construction and maintenance of building and grounds.
• Other duties as assigned.
