Job summary

General Maintenance Corporation seeks full-time Painters & Construction Laborers for projects across Southern Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and the Florida panhandle. You’ll prep surfaces, paint, install decals and canopy fixtures, and support basic construction tasks under the Site Foreman’s direction.

No specialized experience required, though a basic background in construction or painting helps. You’ll work outdoors, wear safety gear, and stay on schedule with the team.

Qualifications

• Basic familiarity with hand/power tools and painting methods preferred.
• Comfortable working at heights using extension ladders and scissor lifts.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Personal smartphone to log hours on payroll apps.
• Open to all applicants; no High School Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Surface Preparation: Wash, scrape, sand, caulk, and mask surfaces for finish adherence.
• Commercial Painting: Apply primers, sealers, and coats with brushes/rollers on various materials.
• Branding & Signage Installation: Install canopy fascia panels, wordmarks, lights, decals, lane IDs and advertising units.
• Site Support & Maintenance: Remove/attach hardware and perform minor gutter/deck repairs as needed.
• Daily Operations: Report to Site Foreman, follow safety instructions, complete tasks efficiently.
