Job summary

Rural King is hiring an Outside Recovery Associate to support outdoor merchandising and customer service. You will help customers load purchases into their vehicles, price outdoor items, and keep areas tidy, safe, and inviting, following merchandising standards.

Candidates should be able to operate equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks, communicate effectively, and participate in ongoing training while supporting store operations.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and be adaptable.
• Demonstrated ability to actively listen and respond effectively.
• Ability to operate independently without direct oversight.
• Comfort with store computer systems and handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in loading purchases into their vehicles.
• Collect signatures for load out tickets to confirm transactions.
• Perform load outs from store to vehicles safely.
• Maintain exterior presentation per Outdoor Merchandising Guide.
• Ensure accurate pricing of products for customer convenience.
• Keep parking lot, corral, and areas clean and maintained.
• Zone outdoor merchandising spaces during intervals to maintain order.
• Use Telxon gun, forklift, pallet jack, ladder and other tools.
• Participate in cross-training across departments.
• Engage in training programs, workshops, and webinars.
• Provide friendly, proactive internal and external support.
• Demonstrate Rural King values in daily work.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
