Job summary

Chewonki Foundation seeks a part-time Mental Health Coordinator to provide support, guidance, and training across our year-round programs. The IMHC collaborates with participants, families, program leaders, Health & Wellness staff, educators, and external providers to support emotional well‑wellness.

The role requires Maine licensure (LCSW/School Psychologist PhD or LCPC) and experience with youth/families in outdoor settings, plus a commitment to equity and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must hold Maine license: LCSW or School Psychologist (PhD), or LCPC.
• Experience in outdoor education or with youth and families.
• Committed to equity and inclusive community.
• Must complete fingerprinting and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health support, consultation, training, and coordination across Chewonki programs.
• Collaborate with participants, families, staff, educators and external providers.
• Support emotional well-being and guide participants through Chewonki experiences.
