Hartville Hardware invites you to join its Outdoor Living team as a Sales Team Member in Hartville, OH. You will help guests create outdoor spaces they love by recommending grills, patio furniture and accessories, delivering friendly, expert advice, and ensuring a memorable shopping experience.

As a compassionate, guest-focused professional, you will work evenings and Saturdays in a part-time role, grow product knowledge, and collaborate with teammates to keep displays inviting and well-stocked

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales experience, preferably in outdoor living or home improvement.
• Strong product knowledge and enthusiasm for outdoor living products, including grills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales goals.
• Basic computer skills for point-of-sale transactions and product information lookup.

Responsabilités

• Greet and assist guests in the outdoor living department with enthusiasm and product knowledge.
• Provide personalized recommendations for outdoor furniture, grills, patio accessories, and related products.
• Develop a deep understanding of outdoor living products, including features, benefits, and maintenance requirements.
• Stay informed about industry trends, new product releases, and advancements in outdoor living technology.
• Clearly communicate product features and benefits to guests.
• Recommend complementary products that enhance each guest's outdoor living experience.
• Keep the outdoor living department well organized, clean, and visually appealing.
• Collaborate with the merchandising team to create eye-catching displays that showcase featured products.
• Address guest questions and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Assist with product returns, exchanges, and warranty-related issues.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the inventory control team to restock products.
• Conduct regular checks for damaged or defective merchandise and take appropriate action.
• Work closely with fellow sales team members, guest service representatives, and management.
• Connect with vendors and manufacturers to stay informed about new products and industry developments.
