Job summary

Mariani Enterprises LLC is seeking a Landscape Sales Designer to lead client engagements from initial consultation through proposal and project development. You will blend design sensibility with sales acumen to turn opportunities into successful projects.

The role requires strong communication, client focus, and ability to present compelling scopes and budgets, working with Design, Construction, and Maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, or Horticulture or related field.
• Experience with landscape design from concept to construction documentation.
• Knowledge of planting design, site planning, grading, and permits is a plus.
• Strong CAD and design presentation skills; Lumion or similar 3D viz a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
• Client-focused with strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Act as design partner to Designer/Sales Lead and refine project goals.
• Develop comprehensive landscape designs balancing aesthetics, function and budget.
• Create detailed plans/drawings, by hand or CAD; lead design through construction docs.
• Prepare take-offs, estimates, and material specs.
• Select plants, trees, and materials based on climate and maintenance needs.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors and gardeners to execute designs.
• Visit sites for coordination and ensure design intent is met.
• Obtain permits and respond to review comments; ensure compliance with codes.
• Stay current with trends and best practices; mentor junior designers as needed.
