Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is looking for Entry-level and Skilled Trimmers and Climbers to join our outdoor crews. We offer on‑the‑job training and a path to build a career in line clearance. Work includes trimming, topping, and reshaping trees to clear powerlines in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, or at various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent further growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Feeds brush & debris into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor job-related damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area.
• Cooperates with customers, police, and fire departments when blocking streets or driveways.
• Trained to perform tree and bucket rescue.
• Assists in training new employees.
