Job summary

Child Care Associates is seeking a Maintenance Groundskeeper to upkeep outdoor learning environments, support safety, and ensure licensing standards are met. You will perform inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance to keep playgrounds safe and welcoming for children, staff, and families.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and experience in maintenance or groundskeeping. A valid driver’s license with insurance is preferred; this role may involve driving on CCA business

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in maintenance, groundskeeping, or related work preferred.
• Knowledge of basic repair, landscaping, and outdoor safety practices.
• Ability to identify hazards and perform routine repairs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain outdoor learning environments to be safe, functional, clean, and welcoming.
• Conduct routine inspections of outdoor areas for health, safety, and maintenance concerns.
• Repair or replace damaged playground components and protection surfacing as needed.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to address hazards and document follow‑ups.
• Document maintenance needs and communicate updates to leadership.
