Job summary

TruGreen in Thomasville PA (York Branch) is seeking a Residential Lawn Care Technician to service homeowner properties on an assigned route. You’ll apply lawn care treatments, identify customer needs, and build lasting relationships while working outdoors and managing a route independently.

No lawn care experience? We provide paid training, hands‑on coaching, and company‑paid certification to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old at the time of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to pass MVR and comfortable consenting to a criminal background check.
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable, self‑motivated, customer‑focused mindset.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle on an assigned route (must be able to become DOT certified).
• Apply lawn care treatments to residential and commercial properties.
• Identify customer needs and recommend solutions and additional services.
• Manage your route and customer information using a tablet.
• Build relationships with customers and deliver exceptional service.
• Work outdoors in a fast‑paced, independent environment safely.
