TruGreen, the nation’s leading lawn care provider, is hiring a Residential Lawn Care Technician to serve homeowners in the Greater Hartford area from our Windsor, CT branch. You’ll manage your own route, apply lawn care treatments, and deliver excellent customer service in an outdoor, fast-paced environment.

Paid training, company-paid certifications, and opportunities for bonuses, overtime, and career growth are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old at hire.
• Valid driverrs license and reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to pass MVR and consent to a criminal background check.
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable, self-motivated, customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle on an assigned route (must be able to become DOT certified).
• Applying lawn care treatments to residential and commercial properties.
• Identify customer needs and recommend solutions and additional services.
• Managing your route and customer information using a tablet.
• Building relationships with customers and delivering exceptional service.
• Work outdoors in a fast-paced, independent environment safely.
