Job summary
Lawn Doctor of Northeastern Illinois & Southwestern Wisconsin is hiring a Lawn Care Technician. You’ll apply fertilizer, weed control, aeration, and seeding on residential properties, running a daily route and documenting services. This is a full-time seasonal position with hands-on training, overtime during peak season, and opportunities for advancement.
A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50+ lbs are required. Company vehicle provided during the workday.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with clean record.
- Able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather.
- Reliable and shows up ready to work.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Apply fertilizer, weed control, aeration, and seeding services.
- Run a daily route and complete scheduled applications.
- Work outdoors on residential properties.
- Communicate with customers professionally.
- Use a mobile app to document services.
- Spot lawn issues and recommend solutions.
- Keep equipment and vehicles clean and organized.
