Job summary

TruGreen is hiring a Residential Lawn Care Technician in Abilene, TX. You’ll manage an independent route, apply lawn care treatments, and build strong customer relationships while working outdoors. Paid training, company-paid certification, and weekly pay accompany a supportive local team.

The position offers growth opportunities and benefits after 30 days. No prior lawn care experience is required as paid training and coaching are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old at the time of hire.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to pass MVR and comfortable consenting to a criminal background check.
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle on an assigned route (must be able to become DOT certified).
• Apply lawn care treatments to residential and commercial properties.
• Identify customer needs and recommend solutions and additional services.
• Manage your route and customer information using a tablet.
• Build relationships with customers and deliver exceptional service.
• Work outdoors in a fast-paced, independent environment safely.
