Job summary

BrightView Landscapes in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Enhancement Laborer to execute small-scale landscaping operations and maintain grounds for commercial properties.

Responsibilities include planting, mulching, pruning, lawn conversions, and supporting cement work as needed. The role requires basic landscape experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to operate common lawn equipment in outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• 6 months of commercial landscape experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge to identify proper amount of water application and penetration.
• Current drivers’ license.
• Knowledge to adjust and regulate sprinkler heads, finish cement surfaces, prepare forms for cement pours, and weeding.
• Experience with cement in preparing for the pour and following finishing procedures.
• Ability to operate a truck with trailer/gate and ramp for loading, unloading and transport of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform plant removal, replanting, lawn conversions, planter installations.
• Back up to interior, landscaping maintenance, irrigation technology and grounds person duties.
• Remove or plant grass; use garden tools (rakes, shovels, etc.).
• Dig trenches and set up cement forms for sidewalk and planter work.
• Prune and trim trees and shrubs with pruning equipment.
• Operate lawn maintenance equipment (36" mower, blower, trimmer).
• Water plants, lawns, and gardens.
• Apply fertilizer per schedule.
• Perform plant, weed, trim, and blow tasks.
• Transport materials between sites.
