Job summary

Columbia Landcare is seeking a Landscape Crew Member to help maintain properties through mowing, trimming, planting, and cleanup. You’ll work outdoors in all weather, operate professional equipment, and contribute to a safety-first crew environment.

The role requires the ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, and pass training. Training is provided, and a team-first mindset helps you thrive in this hands-on position.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscaping is a plus, but formal experience is not required as training is provided.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long periods.
• Able to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Mow, edge, trim, blow, and clean commercial properties.
• Prune trees and shrubs; plant flowers and maintain beds.
• Use hand tools and power equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers).
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Work with crew under daily direction of the Crew Leader.
• Load/unload equipment and maintain cleanliness of trucks/tools.
• Assist with snow removal duties during winter (where applicable).
