Job summary

Amrize is hiring a Laborer for our Ada, OK cement plant. The role involves cleaning, utility operations, and supporting various shifts with hands-on tasks and equipment operation.

You will perform inspections, follow safety procedures, assist with housekeeping, and maintain documentation while contributing to a culture of safety and continuous improvement. High school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high mechanical aptitude and ability to work in a team based environment.
• Welding experience and ability to read measuring tools is preferred.
• Experience in a heavy manufacturing environment is desirable.
• Ability to operate mobile equipment (skid steer, sweeper, water truck, vac-truck)
• Experience using hand tools and basic math is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections & checklists on work areas.
• Participate in safety processes and procedures.
• Clean up and housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Operate various small to mid-sized mobile equipment.
• Fill in vacancies within different areas of the plant.
• Maintain documentation, plan and organize work, participate in team activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Promote a culture of safety and adhere to policies.
