Job summary

Workcare Inc is seeking an Injury Prevention Specialist to deliver injury prevention program services across a region including Eureka and Fortuna. The role supports a utility client, with duties ranging from triage and first aid to ergonomic assessments and coaching for total worker health.

The position is temporary, starting as soon as possible and ending December 31, 2026, with possible extension. Typical schedule is daytime hours, with outdoor work and travel between designated service

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related health field is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification is required.
• Experience in occupational health, ergonomics, or wellness is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide injury prevention program services following OSHA first aid guidelines.
• Support the injured employee and accident investigations.
• Conduct ergonomic analyses and recommend workstation and tool adjustments.
• Collaborate with other WorkCare service lines and support emergency response when needed.
