Job summary

Arlington Properties is seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper for our Spartanburg communities. You’ll keep grounds, walkways, and pool areas clean and inviting, assist with routine property maintenance, and help prepare units for new residents.

This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and outdoor work in all weather. No prior landscaping experience is required; basic English communication, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and use of hand/power tools are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must be physically able to lift up to 100 lbs and perform daily tasks.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keep grounds, walkways, stairways, and public areas clean and debris-free.
• Assist with routine property maintenance and cleaning tasks.
• Report repair and maintenance needs to the Service Manager.
• Perform basic maintenance and help prepare units for new residents.
• Maintain neat and organized work and storage areas.
• Support the maintenance team with move-outs and turnovers.
• Help with seasonal tasks such as snow or leaf removal.
• Clean and maintain pool areas (where applicable).
• Adhere to all safety and company policies.
