Job summary

University Partners is seeking a Porter to maintain the cleanliness and safety of the community grounds and common areas. The role includes light maintenance, trash management, and daily property inspections to keep the environment welcoming for residents, guests, and staff.

Ideal candidates have strong attention to detail, reliable time management, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather. This is a full-time position with weekend and overtime potential as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering reliable, friendly service to residents, guests, staff.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
• Basic math for measurements and conversions is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of exterior common areas, breezeways and walkways.
• Assist with trash, recycling and debris removal daily.
• Support light maintenance tasks and minor repairs as directed.
• Conduct daily property inspections to ensure safety and appearance.
• Notify supervisor of safety hazards and inventory needs.
• Assist vendors and contractors on site during work orders.
• Move notices, packages, or correspondence as needed.
