Job summary

The City of Fulton is seeking a full-time Buildings and Grounds team member to perform routine outdoor maintenance on City properties. The role runs Monday through Friday, 6:30am to 3:00pm, and involves mowing, edging, debris removal, and basic repairs.

Work is outdoors and performed in varying heat conditions. Ideal candidates are entry-level, with preference for those who have some grounds maintenance or landscaping experience.

Qualifications

• This is an entry-level position.
• Experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Mow grass and maintain lawns and landscaped areas on City properties.
• Operate weed-eaters and edging equipment along sidewalks, fences, and buildings.
• Perform general grounds maintenance including trimming, debris removal, and litter pickup.
• Assist with basic maintenance and repair tasks as assigned.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment; report maintenance needs.
