Job summary

Bermex, Inc. is seeking a General Laborer to support field operations, preparing meter pits for new meters and assisting with meter box replacements. You will work under a Project Manager or Lead Technician, requiring strong organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities include cleaning pits, pumping out flooded pits, replacing meter boxes, and maintaining a clean work area. This role involves outdoor work, lifting up to 50 lbs, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Education: None required.
• Experience: No experience necessary; training provided; valid driver's license required.
• Preferred: High School Diploma or GED.
• Outdoor work experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Digging and removing dirt; disposal of material.
• Use of shovels and trenching shovels.
• Operate manual or battery pumps to remove water/dirt from pits.
• Disposal of dirt and broken meter boxes at approved locations.
• Ground restoration and backfilling after meter box replacements.
• Other duties as assigned.
