Job summary

Scheels Sandy is seeking a Part-time Camping Sales Associate for days, evenings, and weekends at our Sandy, UT store. You will help customers, promote the Scheels Visa Card, and contribute to achieving sales goals with friendly, knowledgeable service.

Qualities include strong customer service, basic computer skills, and the ability to stock, merchandize, and assist in training new staff. This is a part-time on-site position with ESOP and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–3 months of sales experience.
• Greet customers and deliver courteous service to ensure a welcoming environment.
• Ability to use a PC and handheld inventory scanner (AS400) and basic Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers on the sales floor with courtesy and a smile.
• Engage with customers to determine needs and promote Scheels Visa Card.
• Grow personal sales by meeting set goals and following Scheels' sales standards.
• Maintain visual merchandising and support freight processing and stock replenishment.
• Demonstrate product usage and access items from heights above 6 ft.
• Attend product trainings and store meetings; assist in training new associates.
