Job summary

Sun & Ski Sports is seeking a Sales Associate in Concord, NC to deliver exceptional customer service and drive personal sales through expert knowledge of outdoor gear. You’ll help customers find the right equipment and build relationships that encourage repeat visits.

Qualifications

Passion for outdoor activities (skiing, cycling, water sports, hiking) is a plus.
Previous sales or retail experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet and engage customers with enthusiasm to create a welcoming experience.
Deliver exceptional customer service throughout every interaction.
Proactively learn in-store merchandise, features, benefits and applications.
Attend product knowledge clinics and training to improve selling ability.
Assist with visual merchandising to ensure displays meet brand standards.
Stay informed about all advertised items and in-store specials to promote offers.
Alert management to suspicious behaviors or situations.
Uphold loss prevention standards including accurate cash handling.
