Backcountry Outlet, part of the CSC Generation family, is seeking a motivated Key Holder to manage store operations during shifts, oversee cash handling, inventory, and customer service, and support the Store Manager in daily activities. The role requires a passion for outdoor activities and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in retail sales or customer service preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic computer skills; experience with POS systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with opening/closing duties.
• Ensure store security and functioning alarm systems.
• Handle cash and card transactions; perform daily cash reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate inventory; conduct regular audits and report discrepancies.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist with purchases, inquiries, and returns/exchanges.
• Maintain a clean, organized store appearance and support daily tasks.
• Train and mentor new team members.
• Perform duties as assigned by Store Manager or Assistant Manager.
