JAX Mercantile Co. in Broomfield, CO is seeking a Full-Time Department Manager for our JAX Outdoor Gear, Farm and Ranch location.

You will lead the department, coach staff, and ensure top-notch customer service as shoppers plan hunting and fishing adventures. The ideal candidate has retail leadership experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage schedules, inventory and promotions while maintaining a welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail management preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and develop staff.
• Must have knowledge of firearms sale regulations.

Responsibilities

• Create schedules two weeks in advance.
• Ensure coverage by working with employees or stepping up fill gaps when necessary.
• Provide honest and informative answers about our products.
• Address loss prevention concerns.
• Participate in inventory responsibilities.
• Assemble new stock.
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked area.
• Complete record-keeping and creating reports.
• Completes special orders.
• Coordinates with others to plan for sales and promotions.
• Ensure proper documentation and pricing of products.
• Works to engage and inspire teamwork with department employees.
