Alter-Trading is seeking a Terminal Operator for our St. Paul, MN facility. The role involves outdoor work moving commodities to and from terminal warehouses, barges, trucks, and rail cars, with an emphasis on safety and independent work after training.

Ideal candidates will have experience operating front-end loaders and other heavy equipment, are able to lift up to 50 pounds, and can input shipping data into inventory systems. The position is full-time and on-site in Saint Paul.

Qualifications

• Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with scales and load-out systems to ensure proper product loading and documentation.
• Ability to input shipping data into the system and maintain inventory records.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment such as front-end loader, excavator, bobcat, forklift, skid-steer, backhoe, track mobile, conveyor systems, and warehouse systems.
• Move and transfer commodities to and from terminal warehouses, barges, trucks, and rail.
• Assist with maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment and systems as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records; input customer shipping data into the system.
