Job summary

Lanco Group of Companies is seeking a field service technician to work outdoors on heavy lift equipment including railjacks, forklifts, welders and service trucks. The role involves troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems, performing maintenance and training customers.

You will read schematics and coordinate repairs with on-site management, with travel across the western region as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of field service experience; relevant degree or active practice required.
• Field-related certificates and endorsements are positively reviewed.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment – electrical, hydraulic, diesel and mechanical.
• Provide training and technical knowledge on full range of equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment.
• Interface with customers and office to repair equipment.
• Read electrical/hydraulic schematics for wide range of equipment.
• Self-start and coordinate repairs with on-site management.
