Job summary

Lanco in California is seeking Crane Field Technicians to maintain and repair complex cranes and heavy equipment in the field and shop. You will work with minimal supervision, documenting service work and training junior technicians as needed.

Applicants should have 3+ years of hydraulic/electrical troubleshooting, be adept at reading schematics, and be willing to travel with some overnights. CDL is preferred and safety is top priority.

Qualifications

• Required: High School or equivalent, 3+ years of hydraulic, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining cranes.
• GMK/AT crane factory training is a plus and travel with some overnights may be required.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair complex crane and heavy equipment with limited supervision.
• Provide service documentation and train junior technicians.
• Demonstrate equipment to customers and ensure safety compliance.
• Read schematics/diagrams to perform repairs on cranes.
• Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders.
