Job summary

Vannguard Utility Partners, LLC is seeking an Underground Utility Locator to work outdoors, drive a company vehicle, and locate underground utilities using maps and specialized locating equipment. Training will be provided to ensure safety and accuracy.

You will mark utility locations, communicate details to excavation personnel, and participate in overtime and on-call rotations as required. Military servicemembers and veterans are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
• Valid driver’s license (Required).
• Pass pre-employment DOT drug test & participate in Drug-Free Workplace Program (Required).
• Basic computer skills (1 year preferred).
• Utility locating (1 year preferred).
• Overtime and on-call rotations when needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle from home to job sites.
• Use mapping tools and locating equipment to locate underground utilities.
• Mark locations with paint/flags and coordinate with excavation crews or authorities.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies per rotation schedule.
