Job summary

Osmose Utilities Services Inc is seeking Field Data Technicians in Missouri to collect detailed data on electric utility and telecommunications facilities. The role involves hiking between spans, data capture for outside plant engineering, and fiber optic construction support.

Training will be provided; overnight travel is common with home weekends and occasional longer assignments. Qualified candidates should have at least 1 year of outdoor work experience, basic computer skills, and the

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather and travel as required.
• Basic computer skills including reading GPS maps and data entry.
• Prior safety program experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collect field data from outdoor environments for fiber optic and utility projects.
• Submit organized data with maps, field notes and images for each project.
• Operate and maintain field equipment including tablets, cameras and measuring tools.
• Represent Osmose professionally in the field and coordinate with project management.
• Communicate daily with the project team and follow safety guidelines.
