Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to use a computer to communicate and update tasks.
• 1–3 years of general maintenance experience preferred (facilities, hospitality, camp, or school environment).
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs independently.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate maintenance vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, cabins, classrooms, dining facilities, and recreational areas.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Inspect facilities regularly to identify and address safety hazards or maintenance needs.
• Maintain outdoor spaces including trails, fields, signage, and common areas.
• Assist with seasonal opening and closing procedures of facilities.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
• Support event setup and breakdown (tables, equipment, lighting, etc.).
• Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance vehicles safely.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and organizational policies.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, supplies used, and repairs needed.
• Assist with waste management, recycling, and sustainability initiatives.
