Job summary

AmeriTex Pipe & Products is seeking a maintenance-focused team member to support facilities upkeep and janitorial tasks at our Seguin, TX site. The role emphasizes safety, outdoor work, and reliable operation of landscaping and basic tools.

Training is required before using any equipment, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in facilities maintenance or janitorial services, with preferred exposure to construction or manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in facilities maintenance or janitorial services.
• Experience in construction or manufacturing is desirable but not required.
• Able to operate landscaping equipment.
• Familiar with various hand and power tools.
• Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Follows safety guidelines and procedures for the role.
• Do not operate equipment unless trained.
• Report equipment failure or malfunctions to maintenance immediately.
• Patrols yard and collects debris into appropriate bins.
• Organizes the facility inside and outside.
• Works with Parts Coordinator on proper storage of items.
• Cleans equipment as needed.
• Paints items around the facility.
• Lubricates wheel bearings to prevent tire wear.
• Performing engine cleanings to prevent rust formation.
• Replace cabin, fuel, air, and oil filters as required.
• Works Mon-Fri 5:00 AM–5:30 PM.
