Job summary

Alliance Technical Group is hiring an Environmental Field-Testing Technician to conduct stack emissions testing at various customer sites within the region. You will learn on the job and gain hands-on experience in environmental testing while traveling to sites with expenses covered.

The role requires outdoor work, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and comfort with heights. A degree in environmental, engineering, or mechanical sciences is preferred, and training can lead to rapid advancement.

Qualifications

• Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Enjoy outdoors, safe in all weather conditions.
• Able to climb stairs and ladders and work at elevated heights.
• Degree in environmental, engineering, or mechanical sciences, or related experience preferred.
• Experience in environmental response/sample collection, mechanical, construction, or electrical work is helpful.
• Experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) & Adobe products.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and use tools at elevated heights.
• Color vision is critical for safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Stack Emissions Testing including equipment prep, deployment, staging/breakdown, sample collection and recovery.
• Learn via comprehensive training with opportunity for rapid advancement.
• On-site field testing and transport testing equipment to customer sites.
• Follow test methods, procedures, and processes for quality source testing.
• Apply mechanical and electrical skills while troubleshooting testing systems.
