Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA) seeks an External Affairs Specialist I/II to guide a hands-on K-12 water education program outdoors in IEUA’s wetlands. The role emphasizes engaging field trips, curriculum development, and strong ties with local schools.

Under supervision, you will coordinate outdoor lessons, support public relations and outreach, and help evaluate program impact across the region.

Competenze

• Four-year college degree in marketing, public relations or closely related field with at least two years of progressively responsible experience; or equivalent combination.
• Public agency experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Lead field-based lessons, tours, and activities for K-12 students outdoors.
• Develop engaging, age-appropriate curriculum and materials.
• Build relationships with schools and educators across the region.
• Support public relations, media relations, and community outreach including presentations, events, website and social content.
• Represent IEUA at community events and meetings to advance agency goals.
