Job summary

Sunridge Hotels in Sedona is seeking a part-time server to support outdoor dining on the view deck. You will take orders, process payments via Micros POS, and upsell menu items while ensuring guest satisfaction.

Duties include food and beverage preparation, stocking, and coordinating with kitchen for dietary needs. This role requires working outdoors in a covered area, with setup and cleanup responsibilities before and after service.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outdoors in covered deck area.
• Tipped position requiring excellent customer service and upselling capabilities.
• Experience using Micros POS system for take orders and payment handling.

Responsibilities

• Clean equipment areas and secure doors.
• Set up, stock, clean and maintain work areas.
• Take orders from customers, input orders in Micros POS system, and obtain payment and provide change.
• Upsell customer food orders.
• Communicate dietary needs and special requests to the kitchen.
• Prepare food, coffee and beverages, including alcohol.
• Prepare ingredients for cooking: portioning, chopping and storing.
• Cook according to recipes and quality standards.
• Assist in Food & Beverage areas: bussing, delivering food, and cleaning prep areas.
• Count bank at end of shift, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, and secure bank.
