Shirley Contracting Company, LLC is seeking General Laborers to join our team across various sites in the United States. The role involves outdoor work in all seasons, flagging and site preparation, and close coordination with operators and crew members.

Qualifications

• Outdoor work in all seasons is required.
• Able to communicate with operators, workers, and pedestrians.
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces with PPE.
• Regular heavy lifting and physical tasks.
• Familiar with hand and power tools.
• Must pass pre-employment physical/drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform flagging, traffic closures and related tasks as assigned.
• Prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support excavations, remove debris and waste materials.
• Install erosion and sediment controls (e.g., silt fence).
• Be willing to perform manual labor to support projects.
• Wear safety toe boots, long pants and four-inch sleeves; PPE is provided.
• Handle a variety of tasks within any given day.
• Maintain and enforce the company’s health and safety culture and policies.
• Establish positive working relationships with customers and co-workers.
