Job summary

Lamar Advertising Company in Shreveport, LA, is hiring for an on-site Operations crew member to install and maintain outdoor billboards across Shreveport and nearby areas. Training and equipment are provided for a career in outdoor advertising.

The position requires a high school diploma, OSHA 10, a valid Class D license, and the ability to work at heights; benefits include PTO, holidays, health plans, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and ability to speak/read English fluently.
• Willingness to work with others and be a team player.
• Basic computer skills including Internet navigation and Microsoft Word & Excel.
• Ability to comply with safety standards and use construction tools safely.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights; operate associated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain all billboards and related structures.
• Remove and hang flexes; prepare and install copy on signs.
• Perform cosmetic and structural maintenance; paint and repair as needed.
• Build extensions and perform minor electrical repairs; document work.
• Attend safety meetings and maintain company tools and vehicles.
• Take completion photos for proof of performance.
