Job summary

Lamar Advertising Company in Bluefield, West Virginia is seeking an Operations crew member to install and maintain outdoor billboards. You will work with the installation crew to assemble and service structures, perform safety-conscious repairs, and document work with photos and logs.

We offer a 6-week training program, PTO, holidays, medical options, and a 401(k) with company match. A valid driver’s license and OSHA 10 are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• OSHA 10-hour Construction course required.
• Preferred certifications: CDL/Non-CDL, Crane, Signal, Rigging, or LDD.
• Experience at heights up to 200 ft preferred.
• Equivalent education and experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Installing and maintaining all billboards as part of the installation crew.
• Remove and hang flexes and vinyls; prepare and install copy on signs.
• Perform structural repairs, tighten bolts, and repaint as needed.
• Conduct safety tasks, document installations with photos and logs.
• Attend safety meetings and operate power/manual tools safely.
