Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking Asphalt Quality Control Technicians to join our metro area plants. This seasonal, full-time role blends hands-on fieldwork with laboratory testing, requiring attention to safety and quality standards.

You'll sample and test asphalt mixtures, analyze data, maintain equipment, and ensure materials meet specifications while coordinating with production staff and supervision. Travel to multiple sites and overtime may be required, with union benefits under IUOE Local 49.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Strong computer and organizational skills.
• Willing to travel to various plant locations on a day-to-day basis.
• Desire for hands on work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Sampling and testing of Asphalt mixtures and aggregate products.
• Analyzing test data and recording and reporting results.
• Calibrate, clean, and maintain production tools and testing equipment.
• Understanding the process of keeping materials in specification.
• Communicating with production staff and direct supervisor.
