PAKA Apparel is seeking an Apparel Designer and Special Project Lead to drive the brand’s evolution in its category from concept to production. You will design timeless apparel and special projects that reinforce PAKA as the world’s leading natural fiber adventure brand.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in apparel design is required.
  • 3+ years of experience in Design and/or Development.
  • Strong Adobe Illustrator and other design software proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Translate creative vision into commercially successful products with cross-functional partners.
  • Create original design ideas, sketches, silhouettes, constructions, and product expressions.
  • Develop line plans through sketches, concept boards, and prototypes; own mock ups.
  • Present concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
  • Ensure all products meet aesthetic, performance, and quality standards.
  • Lead collaborations and special projects beyond the seasonal calendar.
