FS System in Findlay, OH offers an Exploring Agriculture Agronomy Operations Internship to gain hands-on agronomy experience under location management. The role trains for a future career within the system and industry.

You'll assist with field research, equipment maintenance, visiting locations and customers, and learning crop nutrition and crop protection product applications while building professional relationships.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree or certification from a college or university and in good academic standing at internship start.
• Ability to obtain CDL and commercial applicator license with endorsements and a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel independently and overnight when necessary.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience in agronomy field and operations.
• Assist with facility and equipment maintenance and repair.
• Visit FS locations and customers, building professional relationships.
• Operate field research and crop monitoring equipment for scouting.
• Apply crop nutrition and crop protection products.
• Gain understanding of ordering, receiving, and inventory control.
