Leila Day is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Teacher for the After School Adventure Program in New Haven, CT. The role supports Kindergarten through 3rd grade students (ages 5–9) with outdoor-based activities and play-based learning.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with children aged 5–9 and support their development.
• Collaborate with Lead Teacher to create a safe, inclusive, joyful learning environment.
• Engage in outdoor exploration and adventures at East Rock Park and nearby spaces.
• Support activities in art, movement, games, science, and nature education.
• Encourage curiosity, risk-taking, and meaningful choice in daily learning.
