Job summary

Williamsburg Learning Phoenix, Arizona, United States is seeking Adventures Substitutes to support outdoor and leadership activities. Substitutes assist the Adventure Lead or Guide, participate in 2–5 hour sessions on Fridays, and help with attendance, first aid, and safety while engaging students in meaningful experiences.

You must be 18+, have at least a year post-high school, a current First Aid/ CPR certification, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old and at least one year post-high school.
• Current First Aid & CPR certification.
• Valid and current driver’s license.
• Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to provide transformational mentoring to youth.
• Willingness to lead with authenticity and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Assist with facilitating transformational learning experiences and participate in discussions.
• Guide activities, manage attendance, and administer basic first aid as needed.
• Follow directions of Adventure Leads to ensure student safety.
• Represent Williamsburg Learning positively during all activities and trips.
