Job summary

CIVANA Wellness Resort & Spa in Carefree, AZ is seeking an Outdoor Adventure Guide to lead ropes course activities, guided hikes, and mountain biking sessions for guests and groups. This full-time, on-site role requires passion for health and hospitality, plus strong safety awareness.

You will facilitate corporate and social programs, maintain equipment logs, and help create memorable outdoor experiences while upholding CIVANA’s standards of service and safety.

Qualifications

• Wilderness First Aid or First Responder certification required.
• 1+ year professional/educational outdoor adventure guide experience.
• 2 years hiking and mountain biking experience.
• 2 years’ experience facilitating ropes elements OR 2+ years climbing experience.
• Hotel/resort experience preferred.
• Willing and able to work all shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Knowledge/passion in Health & Wellness

Responsibilities

• Facilitate ropes course activities.
• Lead daily group hikes 3–12 miles with elevation from 200–1,500 ft.
• Lead mountain biking outings 2–15 miles.
• Facilitate programs for corporate and social groups on the challenge course.
• Assist with outdoor equipment maintenance and usage logs.
