Job summary

Inns of Aurora Resort & Spa is hiring part-time programming hosts and guides to lead guided outdoor experiences for guests, including hikes, archery, wildlife observation, and nature-based programs at our Finger Lakes resort.

You may contribute ideas or work with existing activities such as tours of history, art, architecture, nature walks, and Cayuga Lake boat tours, plus wellness workshops. Hours range from three to twenty per week depending on need and guest demand.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating and leading outdoor activities.
• Ability to engage guests and ensure safety during activities.
• Knowledge of local ecology, wildlife, and local history is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Host and lead outdoor guest activities including hikes, archery, wildlife observation, and other nature-based programming.
• Assist in facilitating private outdoor programming for individual guests, groups, and retreats.
• Maintain accurate records related to programming and equipment.
• Troubleshoot unexpected operational challenges during guest activities.
