Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced Outcomes Analyst III for a direct-hire opportunity in Addison, TX. This hybrid position supports the reporting, data analysis, and business intelligence functions of a Clinical Analytics department, with responsibility for employer reporting, clinical outcomes analysis, utilization reporting, and special analytical projects. The Outcomes Analyst III will manage the analytical process from data acquisition and manipulation through analysis, visualization, and final reporting. This position will evaluate clinical practice patterns, utilization trends, outliers, and outcomes data to identify meaningful insights and opportunities for improvement. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of analytical and technical application experience, advanced experience working with SQL and large datasets, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for clinical teams, internal stakeholders, and external customers. Healthcare analytics experience is highly preferred.
Perform comprehensive clinical utilization and outcomes analyses to support clinicians, leadership, internal stakeholders, and external customers.
Analyze clinical practice patterns, utilization trends, outcomes, variations, and outlier metrics to identify meaningful trends and opportunities.
Evaluate clinician practice patterns and performance metrics to identify alignment with or deviation from established clinical models.
Acquire, extract, manipulate, clean, validate, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
Use SQL, Excel, MicroStrategy, and other analytical tools to retrieve and analyze clinical, utilization, employer, and operational data.
Generate standard and recurring reports, including daily, monthly, and quarterly utilization and outcomes reporting.
Develop customized reports and analyses to support employer reporting, presentations, client meetings, and business initiatives.
Interpret analytical results and translate complex findings into clear written narratives, visualizations, and actionable recommendations.
Identify trends, patterns, outliers, and opportunities within clinical and utilization data.
Develop and execute low- to medium-complexity reporting and analytics projects with appropriate management guidance.
Partner with internal departments to determine reporting requirements and develop customized analytical solutions.
Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and quality assurance testing for new reports, dashboards, data solutions, and system enhancements.
Support testing and validation of data within the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and related outcomes reporting systems.
Validate report accuracy, data integrity, calculations, and business logic before reports and dashboards are released.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, analytical workflows, documentation, and overall team efficiency.
Create and maintain reporting processes, procedures, and supporting documentation.
Provide guidance or training to team members and stakeholders on reporting processes and procedures as appropriate.
Manage assigned analytical projects, priorities, and deadlines while escalating risks or issues when necessary.
Maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive clinical, employee, customer, HIPAA, and Protected Health Information (PHI).
Support special analytical projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.
