Job summary

BSN SPORTS, A VARSITY BRANDS COMPANY is seeking an Outbound Supervisor to lead the Production/Warehouse team on the 2nd shift in Indianapolis. You will coach staff, drive safety, quality, and productivity, and push KPI attainment while maintaining a safe, welcoming Lean environment.

Responsibilities include resolving issues with Team Lead, ensuring accurate payroll, building teams, presenting data, and proposing process improvements.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years' warehouse/manufacturing experience.
• Previous leadership experience preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

• Provides positive coaching to change behavior; holds team members accountable to all defined KPIs.
• Resolves conflicts in a timely and professional manner.

LOCATION DETAILS: 5349 W 76th St, Indianapolis, IN 46268

WORK HOURS: 2nd Shift - Monday through Friday 2:30 p.m.-11:00 p.m.

Mandatory overtime which may include some Saturdays and Sundays during peak operations (Aug-Dec).

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

As a member of the Production/Warehouse team, the Outbound Supervisor is a critical leadership role and is responsible promoting a team environment by developing and coaching all team members and ensure operational success through attaining KPIs in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity.

QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills
• Solution oriented minded
• Collaborates with peers for team and Operational success
• Computer literate with knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office, knowledge in SAP a plus
• Able to perform with minimal direction
• Flexibility to work varying shifts and in varying departments in support of the operation

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• HS Diploma or GED
• 3-5 years' experience in a warehouse/ manufacturing setting
• Previous leadership experience, preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand for long periods of time. Repetitive movement of the body is required on a regular basis. The position requires lifting of no less than 15-35 lbs. on a regular basis. Must be able to tolerate working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
