Arvato is seeking a Team Lead to oversee day-to-day Shipping operations at our Shepherdsville, KY facility. This role manages all intake through the warehouse and handles related paperwork, tracking performance and attendance while ensuring safety, organization, and cleanliness.

Responsibilities include driving departmental process improvements, complying with safety/hygiene standards, and maintaining 7s guidelines, with flexibility for overtime and varied shifts to keep the warehouse efficient

Qualifications

• Demonstrated Shipping experience in a fast paced distribution center environment.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Problemsolving, decision making, planning and organizational skills.
• Able to perform at a fast-paced packaging environment.
• The ability to follow instructions, processes, and procedures.
• Forklift certified a plus.

Job Description

The Team Lead will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Shipping department. Including all product initially received through the warehouse and the handling of all paperwork pertaining to that merchandise. Tracks performance and attendance for all personnel assigned to the shipping area. This position is also responsible for safety, organization and cleanliness.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Forklift certified a plus

Previousexperience in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment

Knowledge of SAPpertaining towarehouse activities

Able to stand/walk forlong periodsof time

Requires ability to stand/reach/stoop/bend

ManufacturingEnvironment/Warehouse Setting

Stand, bend, stoop, lift, and walk majority of your shift
